Intership: Fashion Designer

Are you the enthusiastic and creative Junior Stylist we are looking for? At Company Fits, you will have the opportunity to further develop yourself and use your creativity to translate the latest fashion trends into modern corporate wear.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven and organized Junior Stylist with experience in Adobe programs, such as Illustrator and Photoshop. You will work closely with our stylists and sales team to create a new corporate wear collection. Your responsibilities:

Digitally developing collections
Preparing articles for the atelier (printing/embroidery) and ensuring quality control
Assisting in the design and management of our webshop and social media, including creating and maintaining images and sliders

There is plenty of room for creativity, initiative, and personal input. We are looking for someone who is precise, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to our creative process.

What will you learn?

As Junior Stylist intern at Company Fits, you will gain valuable experience in various aspects of the clothing industry. You will learn how to digitally develop collections using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and develop skills in preparing articles for printers and embroiderers, including quality control..

During this Junior Stylist internship, you will develop various essential skills for the fashion industry. You will learn how to:

Visualize the fashion industry and develop a basic fashion concept

Gather and process information on fashion trends and developments
Develop a basic fashion concept for a target group
Translate a basic fashion concept into a structured plan
Apply basic pattern-making and sewing techniques

Designing a fashion collection

Research design guidelines for a fashion collection
Translate design guidelines into a fashion concept
Develop a fashion concept into technical drawings and style sheets
Present a fashion collection

Guide the developments of samples

Provide collection items for sampling
Test and evaluate samples for style, fit and make
Advise on production and sales processes
