Internship: Logistic assistant

Are you the logistics assistant we’re looking for? As a logistics intern, you will strengthen our young and dynamic warehouse team, where we process and ship orders daily. Our warehouse team is supported on Tuesdays and Thursdays by a group of employees from Lucrato, a social workplace.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, has a keen eye for detail, works accurately, and is enthusiastic about supporting our logistics process. You will play an important role within our team, ensuring a smooth order flow.

What will you learn?

As a logistic assistant at Company Fits, you will gain valuable knowledge and experiece in logisitcs. You will learn how to:

receive and prepare goods/products for storage
pack, collect and prepare shipments
perform value added logistics (VAL) activities

In short, you will be involved in various logistics operations, helping you develop and expand your skills.

Learning objectives

As a logistic assistant, you will gain hand-on experience and develop key skills in the logistics sector, inclusing:

Receiving and storing goods/products

Unloading and inspecting incoming goods/products
Registering goods/products in the system and storing them

Order collection and processing

Collecting and checking orders
Performing Value Added Logistics (VAL) activities
Managing inventory and administrative processes
Completing order collection

Shipping goods/products

Preparing goods/products for shipment
Finalizing shipments and loading goods/products
